AN EXPERIENCE TO LOVE LIFE MORE
If we had to describe ourselves, we’d say we’re people who love everyday life, Florence, and Italy.
Our days start with a cup of coffee, a walk with our dogs, and a cheerful “Come stai?” from the neighbors.
The Florentine sunlight, the garden breeze, and that slow, easy rhythm of Italian evenings… (and of course, we can’t miss a Fiorentina match on the weekend! ⚽️)
We deeply love this city and our daily life and that’s why welcoming new guests is such a joy for us.
We hope that those who stay here, while discovering the real Florence, will return home loving their own everyday life a little more.
And yes, we love the planet too.
— Words of wisdom from our youngest team member, Teho.

A FAMILY HOME ON VIA FAENZA
Via Faenza has always been a street of encounters.
Along this very road — once home to the Church of San Giuliano and the Monastery of the Sisters of Montaione in the 14th century — you’ll now find our hostel.
The old convent gardens still survive today, a small, living fragment of that history.
Marco and Leo, who run the hostel, carry the spirit of their randparents, Nonno Pietro and Nonna Lina, who were inspired by the ancient inns that welcomed pilgrims along Via Faenza since the 1300s.
When they opened the hostel in 1994, they did so with the same intention as those before them: to welcome every traveler with warmth and humanity.
And ever since, that timeless spirit of hospitality — passed down through generations — has remained unchanged.

CREATED FOR YOUR PEACE AND WELL-BEING
We want our hostel to be a safe and sustainable place, somewhere every traveler can completely feel at home.
It’s not just a place to sleep, but a space where we share the life we love here in Florence.
We’re happy to recommend our favorite local restaurants, and letting local artists fill the hostel with their creativity — so that everyone who arrives can feel a bit of the city’s soul.
And the Florentine garden we care for every day? We do it because we imagine our guests there, sitting under the sun, breathing slowly, and finding their balance again.
In the end, what we truly wish for is that this place becomes, for every traveler, a small corner of peace and renewal.
